Project Control began as a small consulting practice in 1977. Its primary goal: provide a custom crafted owner's representative service that would result in substantial savings in the development and construction cost of major institutional and corporate building projects.

The need for such a service is evident from the company’s growth to a nationally known project management firm. Much of the company’s work comes from repeat business or referrals, confirming that its pioneering techniques in project management produce successful results. Since inception, the firm has been headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and today maintains offices in Houston, Texas and project offices across the country.

Project Control’s objective is to relieve owners of the demanding management responsibilities and technical overview associated with major construction projects. This enables owners to proceed with “business as usual,” comfortable in the knowledge that their project will be defined, designed and constructed within clearly articulated time and budget parameters.

Since Project Control does not provide design, engineering or construction services, there is no conflict of interest. Project Control unequivocally represents the owner’s best interest on all issues. This independence allows us to be objective while assisting the owner in retaining consultants and in directing consultants’ activities to ensure efficiency and economy with no sacrifice in quality. In most instances, Project Control’s services result in savings to the owner, which exceed the fees paid to Project Control.
